The Shapes of Water

The exhibition is organised by the Embassy of Italy to Qatar and is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation along with the Triennale Design Museum from Milan. It showcases design products related to the various uses of water according to their function (cultivating, filtering, collecting, transporting just to name some) with a conceptual link to the theme of environmental sustainability and careful usage of limited natural resources. "The Shapes of Water" exhibition will showcase around 30 items created by several designers coming from Mediterranean countries. Among them the young Qatari female designer, Shaikha Al Sulaiti, who has contributed to the exhibition creating a design object, purposely made for this event. "The Shapes of Water" exhibition will be opened on the 18th of October and will last until the 3rd of November.
