On 12th October, Farmers at Heenat Salma will start the plantation. A team of 20 from Hilton Doha will join the farmers at the farm to plant the saplings together.

A dedicated area map will be shared with Hilton Doha clearly showing the area in the farm where Hilton Doha's 400 trees will be planted.

All 400 trees will be virtually onboarded to Hilton Doha's online dashboard using Verdura Care Qatar's global technology partner EcoMatcher's treecoder application. 

Hilton Doha can login to their dashboard and view each tree planted virtually through satellite mapping in the application. Learn about the species of the sapling, learn about the farmer who planted the saplings and also check their sustainability score and carbon offset on their online sustainability calculator built in the application.

Hilton Doha can name each tree virtually in the dashboard with the name of their employees or customers and download the tree certificates which would be shared as corporate gifts to staff and customers.

This is a unique corporate initiative by Hilton Doha to plant indigenous saplings that help Qatar's ecology while minimising the carbon footprint of Hilton Doha equivalent to the carbon sequestered by 400 Sidra Trees in its lifetime.
