CAP THAT

Plastic bottle caps are being collected by students and teachers in our school and rather than being put in recycling bins they will be converted into usable sustainable products - plastic bowls, permanent art work, planters etc. Awareness is spread in the school to:

• REFUSE single use plastic
• if not possible then REDUCE the amount of single use plastic by opting for more sustainable products
• where one cannot reduce, then REUSE single use plastic (alternate use if possible rather than dispose - such as the CAP THAT campaign)
• if the single use plastic cannot be reused then RECYCLE rather than put in general waste
• and remember to REBUY - purchase products made from recycled material
